Our Kaupapa
Kāteao is an organisation committed to increasing accessibility to rauemi Māori (Māori resources). Whether it’s providing bilingual rauemi for the akomanga (classroom), developing rautaki (strategies) to future-proof people and organisations, or supporting the growth of cultural capability and competency within a kura or an organisation, our focus is on creating meaningful and accessible pathways to learning.
Our passion is ensuring that high-quality rauemi are available to all, empowering people and organisations to strengthen their knowledge, capability, and connection to te ao Māori.
Whatakai Rokiroki
Our online resource platform has been developed to support Kaiako in effectively implementing te reo Māori in the classroom. All resources are bilingual and are underpinned by assessment rubrics aligned to the four whenu of te reo Māori. In addition, we have created supporting resources to assist Kaiako with the teaching and learning programme.
